America took a small break from holding its breath Tuesday night to laugh at a man falling down.

For this brief moment of relief,Watch Project X Online we thank this unfortunate fellow, who took a big, big on-camera tumble while navigating the slippery "Democracy Plaza" at Rockefeller Plaza.

Like any good big tumble, it happened in several steps. There was a moment when the man could have recovered, but he did not. He simply fell down even more.
